Some touch screen displays are supported out-of-the-box. If yours is not supported yet, some info are required to add its support.

Notes:
  • The touch screen of Dell Inspiron Mini Duo can easily be enabled with these instructions.
  • The touch screen of Asus Eee PC T91 was supported out-of-the-box until the 1.0. It's a known issue it doesn't work with the 1.1 or later, we're working on it. Thank you for your support!

You can contact the Ubuntu community since Joli OS is based on Ubuntu and/or contact the manufacturer of your device.

Provide as much detail as you can, including:

  • The version of Joli OS installed
  • The brand of your device
  • The model of your device
  • The hardware component affected (of course, touch screen here)
  • The error message you get (if applicable)
  • A detailed description of your issue

In addition to this, it should be very useful to include the output files generated by the following commands (they should be in your home directory):

  1. Open a terminal by pressing Alt + F1 (more details)
  2. Type: sudo lspci -v -nn > lspci (it returns the list of your PCI devices)
  3. Type: sudo lsusb -v > lsusb (it returns the list of your USB devices)

Note: In any case, stay tuned and keep your OS up-to-date. Most of issues are simply solved by a system update.
