With Joli OS 1.2 (and later), you're able to log in as a guest user on any Joli OS powered machine!

Note: You can disable the guest mode from the settings tab when you're logged in as an admin user.

In guest mode, there's some things to know:

What's specific

• Chromium and web apps are running in incognito mode (more details on Google Chrome Help)
• You have 300MB of local storage (this storage is not on the hard drive but on the RAM memory)
• You're not prompted to synchronize your native apps that have not been installed by the administrator
• Everything you locally stored in guest mode is erased once you log out

What improves your experience

• You benefit from the admin network connection settings
• You don't need to associate the device
• You won't have any update to perform

What's restricted

• You cannot install native apps but you can use the native apps that have been installed by the administrator
• You can access Local Apps but you cannot add an additional local app
• You cannot access Local Settings
